Massimiliano Saccone

Bio

Massimiliano Saccone holds the position of Senior Technologist at the Department of Human and Social Sciences, Cultural Heritage (DSU) of the National Research Council (CNR) in Italy.

He graduated in Humanities, specializing in Modern and Contemporary History, from Sapienza University of Rome in 2007 and later earned a postgraduate diploma in Archival and Library Heritage (Librarian track) from the Sapienza's School of Specialization in Archival and Library Heritage.

At the Department, Massimiliano is responsible for a range of organizational, managerial, and technical-scientific activities related to planning, programming, monitoring, evaluation, coordination, and promotion of research. He also coordinates the Department's activities in Research Infrastructures within the Social and Cultural Innovation (SSH) sector and contributes to the implementation of DSU initiatives for Open Science.

Massimiliano is actively involved in the development and supervision of projects of national and regional significance that are of departmental interest.
