OPERAS – Open scholarly communication in the European research area for social science and humanities
OPERAS is a Europe-wide distributed research infrastructure that aims to integrate and enhance scholarly communication channels, resources and tools in the social sciences and humanities, to develop advanced strategies, policies, resources, tools and services to support Open Science, and to effectively address the needs of scholarly communication SSH.
OPERAS aims to provide the humanities and social sciences community with integrated and federated facilities, tools and services to access, create, disseminate and validate research results, in the logic of Open Access and Open Science.
In 2019, OPERAS became an international non-profit association (AISBL) under Belgian law and in 2021 entered, as an ESFRI Project, into the ESFRI Roadmap 2021.
