On 14–15 October 2025, the Second Consortium Meeting of the European project CreaTech will take place in Napoli, hosted at the Sala Convegni of the National Research Council (CNR) (Via G. Sanfelice, 8 – 7th Floor).

Organized by the Department of Social sciences and Humanities, Cultural heritage of National Research Council (CNR-DSU), and by its Institute of Heritage Science(CNR-ISPC) and Institute of Studies on the Mediterranean (CNR-ISMed), the meeting will bring together the project partners to review the results achieved so far and outline upcoming priorities.

CreaTech aims to establish a distributed innovation ecosystem to foster entrepreneurship and innovation within the cultural and creative industries (CCIs) across Europe. Anchored in HEIs, the initiative is designed to connect students, graduates, researchers, and industry professionals with leaders in the cultural and creative sectors.

The event will see the participation of representatives from University of Tirana (UT), Centre for Education and Development (CED), AAB College, the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI), the University of Patras (UPatras), the European Creative Hubs Network (ECHN), Lascò (IT), and the University of Bedfordshire (BED), alongside CNR.

The meeting represents a key moment for all project members to review progress, assess challenges, and identify areas for improvement in the joint work carried out so far. Across two days, partners will discuss the status of the different Work Packages, including: Capacity Building for HEIs in CCI Innovation; innovation and business development in CCIs; the Start-up Booster Program; Project management; Communication, Dissemination and Transferability. A dedicated session will also focus on risk assessment and mitigation, ensuring the long-term sustainability of project activities.

The meeting in Napoli represents an important opportunity to consolidate the partnership, share lessons learned, and plan the next steps to maximize the project’s impact on innovation and entrepreneurship in CCIs across Europe.
