Graduated in 1987 in Economics and Commerce from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", after some experiences at other public bodies, in 1988 he was hired by the National Research Council.
Initially he dealt with financial planning, budgeting and accounting, gaining various experiences in the field of accounting systems and contributing to their evolution within the CNR.
Between 2010 and 2014 he was Director of the Budget and Financial Planning Office of the CNR and over the years he also gained experience in the fields of operational planning and internal control systems, also becoming responsible for the Management Control and Internal Audit units.
