
The National Research Council of Italy (CNR) will be prominently involved in the IEEE International Conference on Cyber Humanities 2025, taking place in Florence from 8 to 10 September 2025. The event explores intersections of humanities, emerging technologies, and critical digital infrastructures.
Through its Department of Social sciences and humanities, cultural heritage (DSU), the CNR grants institutional patronage. Director Salvatore Capasso will deliver the opening address.
The presence of internationally renowned keynote speakers gives the event global resonance and reinforces the strategic relevance of Cyber Humanities in today’s research landscape.
Industrial Session and workshop:
The Industrial Session (9 September, 2:00–3:20 p.m.), chaired by Gohar Sargsyan (TCS), will feature the participation of DELL, Meta, Net7, Mathema, Minds, 4Science, highlighting the role of digital infrastructures in technology transfer from research to industry.
