Abstract
CreaTech aims to establish a distributed innovation ecosystem to foster entrepreneurship and innovation within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) across Europe. Anchored in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), the initiative connects students, graduates, researchers, and industry professionals with leaders in the cultural and creative sectors.
Objectives
- Strengthen the capacity of higher education institutions: provide tailored training and mentoring for academic and non-academic staff, fostering institutional change and entrepreneurship.
- Equip aspiring entrepreneurs: give students and aspiring entrepreneurs the skills and resources they need to develop, launch and grow start-ups in the cultural and creative industries (CCIs).
- Enhance collaboration: promote knowledge exchange between higher education institutions, start-ups and stakeholders in the creative industries.
- Support start-ups: offer structured training, mentoring and networking opportunities to help cultural start-ups turn ideas into sustainable businesses and scale up effectively.
