Silvia Mattoni

Silvia Mattoni – Professional journalist, Head of Media Relations for the Department of Social sciences and humanities, cultural heritage (DSU) at the National Research Council (CNR), formerly Head of the Public Relations Unit and the Communications and Public Relations Unit at the CNR. An expert in public and institutional communications, including during emergencies, she directed the Communications Office and the Press Office of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) from 2013 to 2017, becoming Editor-in-Chief of the institution’s scientific journals. She is currently Editor-in-Chief of the journal Quaderni di Comunicazione Scientifica, published by Rosenberg & Sellier.
