We asked him where we stand today regarding Schuman&#8217;s great dream, what goals Europe has achieved so far, and what critical issues and challenges it still faces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">Giovanni Carlo Bruno has a degree in Political Science. His research focuses primarily on the domestic and international legal protection of vulnerable groups, including people with migration backgrounds. He previously served as a Seconded National Expert &#8211; Legal and Human Rights Advisor for the European External Action Service (2012-2014), was a key staff member of &#8216;EULab &#8211; Summer School on Labour Migration in the European Union&#8217;, and Co-Convener of the &#8216;International Law of Culture&#8217; interest group of the European Society of International Law.
